I have always been nervous about seeing the dentist. The sounds, smells, bright lights! Of course, it didn’t help that I would choose the wrong ones. After several years of bad experiences, I stayed away for six years. Finally, a large filling fell out, forcing me once again to try another dentist. But who? After a near-miss with another, I was about to give up when a flyer arrived in the mail from Dr. Korwin.  Right away, for some strange reason, I thought this could be good. So I called and made my appointment and actually showed up! I am so glad I did! I had researched him online and read all the good things about him. But, I remained skeptical. I was wrong. As soon as I walked in, I felt a sense of calm which I never felt in a dental office. Talking to the receptionist, she made me feel comfortable right away. So far, so good! Next was the hygienist, a very good experience. I wasn’t expecting that. She made me feel relaxed, calm and informed. I didn’t feel any pressure with the plan she laid out for me. Meeting with Dr. Korwin was another great experience. He was very caring, very confident, and very sure that the root canal I needed would be “pain free”. Really? Wow! I thought to myself….”this guy could pull it off”. So, I made my appointment, came back, and had the procedure. Dr. Korwin and his entire staff were wonderful. They took great care with me during the procedure, and he was right….it was all, “pain free”!!

Root Canal treatment is completely different from the past. Modern treatment is painless and very fast. The majority of our patients are so comfortable they fall fast asleep while being treated, and feel little or nothing afterwards.
